When will I ever look forward to Valentine's Day? When will I ever be able hold pretty flowers in my hand, wanting to show the world that I can actually make another person happy?

Sure, at certain times today, it did sting. Of course. Some of the girls out there at Holland V tonight were my age, with boyfriends who held their hands and planned surprises.

But, most times today, I felt happy. had a wonderful day in school with my friends <3 a="" and="" anyway.="" being="" bothering="" care.="" chocolates.="" else="" essentially="" is="" laughter="" little="" love="" loving.="" more="" much="" nbsp="" nicer="" p="" s="" show="" so="" someone="" that="" to="" valentines="" what="" you="">
I guess, maybe, I should be grateful that because i've not had a relationship, i've managed to build strong friendships and have gotten to know more people - which i think happens only with time and effort.

So, today, I'll be grateful for the friends that I have around me, who accept me for who I am, whom I can laugh and cry with and whom I know I'd want my kids to know.
